On behalf of all the children and staff at Majengo Children’s Home in Tanzania, I am writing to thank you for your kindness and your donations over the last 12 months.  Truly, Majengo would not be the thriving initiative it is today without your invaluable contributions. 

Thanks to your generosity, we continue to be able to support and empower the children at Majengo Children’s Home and in the surrounding community to be the heroes of their own stories.

Twenty-twenty is going to be a great year at Majengo! As we continue to improve our transition and reintegration programs for our older children, we plan to extend the depth and breadth of our community programming. We strive to continue providing the community with access to training and educational seminars sponsored by Majengo Children’s Home.

In 2019, we ran a successful pilot program, which involved training sessions for relatives of Majengo children living within the community.

With your generous support, Majengo Children’s Home continues to succeed and expand. We are able to provide a safe and loving home where the children can grow and flourish. The Majengo youth are gaining a sense of belonging and personal empowerment. As the children mature, the support they have received at Majengo Children’s Home prepares them for the responsibilities of adulthood and enables them to transition into fully functioning members of the wider community. We strive to provide each child with the education and skills required to succeed as independent and contributing adults.

We have attached an overview of some of our biggest accomplishments in 2019 and some initiatives we are looking forward to in 2020.
