CategoriesupdatesEvery time we go over to Tanzania, we order new drums for the kids to top up their fabulous Majengo drum band. It is so exciting to see and hear the kids playing, singing, and dancing on the big outdoor porch in front of the Serengeti house at Majengo!
CategoriesEventsAfter hours of practicing every day after school, with dancing, drumming, singing, and acting our Majengo kids joined lots of other schools at a fabulous (but very hot!) African Children’s Day event out in the Masai village of Selela.
CategoriesupdatesOur basketball/netball court is up and running, and both the Majengo and neighbouring kids love it! Kids at Majengo excel on their school teams – netball for the girls and soccer for the boys. This year, Godlisen made it onto the men’s Majengo community soccer team – our sports hero!
