What You Have Helped Build at Majengo

To our dear Majengo family,

On behalf of all of us at Majengo, both here and in Tanzania, thank you for your generosity during this extremely challenging time.

Your donations have helped build a program in the Majengo community which will provide support to hundreds of children and their families. We would never have been able to do this without your generosity.

As of today we have distributed:
  • 700 Coronavirus Handwashing Emergency Kits
  • 112 Food Subsidy Packs
  • 290 Stay Home Study Packs
These deliveries included:
  • 2,500 Coronavirus Information Posters
  • 2,100 Bars of Soap
  • 1,230 Masks
  • 1,120 KG of Beans
  • 1,120 KG of Corn
  • 700 Buckets with Taps
  • 98 Litres of Cooking Oil
  • 120 Pencils
We hope to continue running this program while the coronavirus remains an issue in Tanzania. We can clearly see the extraordinary challenges facing impoverished Tanzanians during the COVID-19 crisis which shows why supporting several hundred families in the Mto Wa Mbu area is paramount at this time.

None of this would have been possible without you. We are very grateful.

With thanks and best wishes,

We still need your help to ensure that we are able to sustain this very important programming in the coming months, as well as maintain the quality of care for the children living at Majengo.
A donation of $50 can help provide one family with handwashing facilities and food subsidies for a month. It can also provide 100 meals at Majengo Children’s Home.
