At Majengo
Today is Giving Tuesday and this day is used as a day to encourage charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season. This year, we have been very fortunate to be the recipients of so much generosity all year long. To our Majengo family who supported us through the challenges of 2020, thank you.
This #GivingTuesday – get in the holiday spirit by making a donation to Majengo in honour of a loved one. Every donation will help make next year, our 13th year, the best yet.
Did you know a donation of:
- $20 will provide 40 lunches for 40 pre-schoolers!
- $50 will provide 3 pairs of athletic shoes for 3 girls in our Masai Girls program.
- $65 will provide 40 mathematical sets for 40 students to use at school.
- $105 will provide 15 new blankets, which will keep 15 children warm during cold season.
- $140 will provide a month’s worth of fruit for the Majengo children.
- $200 will allow us to fix the road into Majengo, which has been damaged by floods.
- $440 will provide enough laundry soap for the whole year at Majengo, which means a whole lot of clean socks and uniforms!
- $500 will provide 100 new treated mosquito nets to keep all the Majengo kids safe from malaria!
- $1500 will provide 40 new uniforms for all of the Majengo pre-schoolers.
- $2000 will provide clothing for all the children living at Majengo for the whole year.
